Our Story

Christ Community Church was started nearly 10 years ago by a group of believers with different denominational stripes. The first service was Sept. 9, 2001 in the commons area of then Bartlesville Wesleyan College (OWU). Perhaps 40 to 50 people were there.

The CCC congregation moved several times over the next 7 years. The Bartlesville Community Center, Seventh Day Adventist Church and Tri-County Tech were stops on the way to our current digs at Eastland Mall.

Kent Adrian was the founding pastor of CCC and served from September 2001 until July 2004. He now pastors a Florida church.

Pastor Mark Hurt came on board in April 2005 at the ripe age of 27. He led CCC through a long renovation of Eastland Mall space and the move there in 2008.
